Overview Jack In The Box - Assistant Restaurant Manager role at Giants Baseball & Softball Camps. Responsibilities Internal Service: Recruits, selects, trains, develops, and evaluates restaurant employees. Monitors staffing levels; ensures training systems for workstations are implemented and followed; identifies internal candidates for management roles; supports a friendly, fun, clean, and safe restaurant environment; treats employees with care and respect; motivates high performance; uses JIB systems and tools; complies with state and federal labor laws. External Service: Manages daily operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience; trains employees to uphold food quality and guest service; ensures adherence to procedures and safety requirements; maintains guest interaction and resolves concerns professionally; preserves the brand image through consistent service and cleanliness. Higher Profits: Partners with the Restaurant Manager to analyze operational and financial performance using management information tools; identifies trends and implements action plans to improve sales and profitability; considers cost/benefit of decisions and protects the JIB brand; monitors costs against budgets and restaurant goals. Qualifications Education - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience - Internal Promote: Minimum of 1+ year as a Shift Leader or 1 year as an Assistant Manager in a customer service environment; must be 100% certified in all workstations. External Recruit: Minimum of 3 years as an Assistant Manager with some P&L responsibility. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Must be at least 18; complete Assistant Manager training; ServSafe certified; ability to read, write, and speak English; excellent interpersonal skills; basic math; analytical ability; strong organizational and planning skills; self-starter; PC skills; valid driver's license and ability to travel as required; demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior. Physical Requirements - Stand and walk 85-95% of shift; lift 10-65 lbs; mobility throughout the restaurant; operate restaurant equipment; use a computer keyboard.
