Job Description
The Assistant Property Manager reports directly to the Property Manager. This is a full-time, salaried position (40+ hours per week). The regular schedule is Monday 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Friday 7:30 - 12 :30 Pm , with flexibility for apartment showings, which may occasionally include evenings or weekends.
The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills, attention to detail, punctuality, dependability, and the ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple tasks at once.
Key Responsibilities
Resident & Client Relations
Over see Virtual team of assistant
Assist residents and prospective residents with questions or concerns.
Follow up promptly on guest cards in AppFolio.
Schedule and conduct property showings for prospective residents.
Guide applicants through the leasing process, including applications, utilities, and renter’s insurance.
Prepare move-in gifts and ensure a smooth resident onboarding experience.
Leasing & Marketing
Prepare new leases, addendums, and renewals.
Assist in developing creative marketing material and social media promotion.
Build and maintain leasing-related reports (e.g., delinquencies, market comparables, weekly leasing, renewals).
Property Inspections
Conduct inspections prior to move-in to ensure PACE quality standards are met.
Complete detailed move-out inspections, including notes and photos.
Financial & Legal
Process and post rent checks.
Prepare and serve legal notices (3-Day, 7-Day Cure to Quit, etc.).
Be present during court hearings as needed.
File documentation and maintain compliance records.
General
Assist with any other tasks or projects as requested by the Operations Manager or Executive Team.
